BlackBerry has started selling the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10, unlocked and SIM free from its own web site. The phones are compatible with the networks belonging to AT&T and T-Mobile. The all-touch BlackBerry Z10, in black and white, is priced at $449. The QWERTY equipped BlackBerry Q10 is priced at $549 for the same colors.

The two unlocked models are available only in the U.S. and despite the recent $900 million+ write down of unsold BlackBerry Z10 models, the Canadian firm did not did not cut the price of the device. Instead, just consider this another outlet for unlocked Z10 and Q10 models. We should note that neither the BlackBerry Q5, or the newly announced BlackBerry Z30 models are being offered from the manufacturer’s web site.

Last week, T-Mobile said that it no longer will stock BlackBerry models in its retail stores. Customers of the carrier looking to purchase a BlackBerry phone will need to have the phone shipped directly to their home. While Verizon says that it will continue to stock BlackBerry models in its stores as long as customers want them to, Sprint says it will wait and see whether it will follow in T-Mobile’s footsteps.
