rad.io App Launches for BlackBerry 10 Smartphones

radio.de GmbH, operator of the international radio platform rad.io, and its European offshoots radio.de, radio.fr and radio.at, today launches its app for BlackBerry® 10 smartphone customers. The app is now available as a free download on the BlackBerry® World™ storefront (appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/30838898/).
The rad.io app for BlackBerry 10 smartphones provides direct access to more than 10,000 local and international stations, online radio and podcasts. It allows customers to listen directly to their favourite radio stations and discover the entire bandwidth of the world of radio. In the design of the app, particular attention was paid to ensure easy navigation through the list of radio stations available. Listeners receive recommendations based on their individual listening preferences and editorial tips offering variety and inspiration.

rad.io is accompanying the current changes to radio in the media sector and providing an innovative platform for radio stations to increase their coverage. rad.io is transforming the browser and the smartphone into a radio device.
